Sometimes, when I'm busy studying, I see an unfinished canvas in the corner of my room. I started to paint it around January 2018, when one of the assignments on WOK (Knowledge of Culture) was to paint abstraction. It was such a creative task I couldn't stop thinking about how wonderful it was to mix colors, distribute them and just create something that is truly mine.
I decided to paint another painting, but only for myself. I didn't finish it in January, so when I had some spare time I decided to take my brushes and oil paint from the shelf in my room and paint a little bit.
I decided to use as much red as I could, as red represents power and strength. However, I also used white to create pale red and pink to create some kind of variety and to show that power is not flawless - everyone is weaker sometimes.
Moreover, I decided to use a canvas that I had painted on when I was 10. I didn't spend too much money on my painting activity and therefore didn't produce more waste.
It was relaxing and I hope I'll finish this painting soon.
